The Culture Shock! exhibition ran at the Great North Museum: Hancock in Newcastle-upon-Tyne between 13 Februrary and 16 April 2010.

The exhibition opened in the middle of the delivery of the project as a way of generating further interest in the project and the stories that had been collected so far.  There were a number of screens showing stories, museum objects from all the partner museums that had inspired these stories and still images from the stories on display.  A number of standalone computers with the Culture Shock! website on for visitors to search the website

themselves.  There was also an interactive wall where over

1000 visitors left comments about their identity and the exhibition.
