When I was about 17 yrs I used to youth hostel all over the county. I remember one absolutely freezing weekend over the Christmas holiday, when Once Brewed hostel was crammed full of young uns and was fortunate to bed down in the blanket cupboard. Some were camping out by (I think it is Crag lough) and were having a last hot drink before setting out to their tents I was absolutely freezation.They had the the right equipment mind!
