Memories of Allotment Gardening
This story is about Geoff's memories of allotment gardening from his childhood to his retirement and beyond.
I think gardening is like therapy...it certainly makes me feel grounded after a day in the office.
I absolutely agree. Home made broth on a cold day is one of the best things about winter.
An interesting look back at a time when people were more self-sufficient - and healthy. Something to bear in mind in these days of junk food and obesity. Steve
takes me back to my grandfathers garden and our own subsequent allotment in Nunsmoor.
