Details
Flat cap. Printed inside is the wartime utility emblem. The wartime utility mark, CC41, stood for 'Civilian Clothing 41'. Clothes with this mark were introduced at the end of 1941 when raw materials such as wool, cloth and leather were in short supply. The clothes did not waste materials and were reasonably priced. People could buy these instead of wasting their coupons.
