Details
coble
This is a half-deck coble, 'Glad Tidings BK 10'. She was built as a motor-sailer around 1929, with the sail being retained for reasons of safety and economy. She was a fishing coble at first, but after World War 2 she was increasingly used for taking day-trippers - including the Queen and the Queen Mother - out to the Farne Islands.
