Nicholson, Alice Hogarth (1900-1950)
Oil painting of a woman lying on her side under a large brightly coloured parasol in a field in the sunshine. Alice Hogarth Nicholson was primarily a landscape painter working in oils and pastels. She was born in Manchester and studied at the Manchester School of Art and in Paris.
