Video transcript

I like going fishing and crabbing. I go fishing when I am on holiday with my uncle, cousin, dad and sister. I started fishing in August 2009 and I started crabbing when I was 10. I am now 13.

To catch a fish we use worms or maggots and to catch the crabs we use maggots as well. This is one of the most popular bait to use and some of the cheapest as well. Using that bait my uncle caught a big fish which I thought was quite interesting. One bad thing about the fishing was that we had to keep stopping and pulling our line and rod out of the sea because the bridge near up kept opening to let the boats come through to moor in the harbour.

Whilst we were fishing I enjoyed looking at some of the brilliant sand sculptures. There was a turtle and a fantastic rhino as well. Because they were so good I decided to drop some money into the collection bucket.

When we had finished we went for some fish and chips for our tea and went back to the apartment to unpack our gear. Then we decided to go to the amusements to meet up with my mam to play some bingo. Afterwards I felt happy and good with what I had achieved as I caught as least six fish and three crabs. I hope that I will be able to go again some time soon.
