Video transcript

About 4 years ago, I went on holiday with my mum, step dad and older sister, Emily. We had a long car journey to the Isle of white, with all 4 of us and over a weeks worth of clothes and food crammed into our tiny Micra. Our accommodation for the week was a log cabin at a holiday park. We spent what was left of our day, after travelling, unpacking and getting settled in. Then night fell. This is where my story starts.

My sister, Emily, and I were sharing a room. The room was quite small with 2 single beds and a desk with a mirror above it. Before we went to sleep, Emily was doing some homework that had been set over the holidays at the desk, whilst I was playing on my Nintendo DS. After awhile we got tired and went to sleep.

I woke suddenly in the night and felt shocked at my unusual surroundings at first. Then I scanned the room, convincing myself that I was safe and there was no need to be scared. As I rolled over to go back to sleep, I caught a glimpse of a girl writing at the desk. It appeared to be Emily, with her head bent over, doing her uncompleted homework. However she was wearing old fashioned clothes and not the pyjamas she had been wearing before she went to sleep. The room was silent, enabling me to hear the pencil scratching off the desk as she wrote. Then I looked across to my sisters bed, to find her still asleep. MY heart started beating franticly, as I looked from one Emily to the other. I blinked and neither figure vanished. " Emily, which one are you?" I exclaimed. " What?" Emily answered in a state of confusion, and still half asleep. " Where are you? At the desk or in your bed?" I replied. " Becky, you are scaring me now!" I looked over and the figure at the desk was gone. The homework and the pencil discarded. I still don't know who was at the desk. Was it a figure of my imagination? Or a ghost who haunted the cabin? Who knows! But I do know that a rolled over and went back to sleep that night, leaving my sister scared and confused.

this was funny and mysterious. I liked itPosted on 15/09/2011 at 10:39:44
