Video transcript

When I was very young, my mam was an alcoholic. That meant she drank too much wine. So I was put in to care, I lived with different families. Then my social worker said I should look for a new mam and dad. So I drew a picture of a nice garden, a man with a smiley round face, then it went in a newspaper for people who wants to adopt children. Some people came to see me, I said “are you going to be my new mam and dad, they said yes, and soon after I came to live with them, and came to this school. I have a new name, a massive family and a mam and dad that love me too.
