Video transcript

The day started when Dan picked us up in his car. There was a long journey ahead, it was approximately one hour. I felt excited because I wanted to go on all the best rides.  Eventually we arrived at about 10:30. One of my mates decided it was funny to jump in the pond while we were waiting to go into the park.

We were all excited. The first ride we saw we had to go on. It was a swing but it span round at a fast speed. After we got off we were all dizzy. All my mates and I ventured to find The Ultimate. On the way my mates all jumped on a small baby ride and span around. We went off to find The Ultimate, Keagan saw The Eagle’s Claw but we were weren’t waiting in that line. Me and Keagan saw some water slides, we went on the steepest slide there and we went down. I had butterflies in my stomach.

Then we walked to the Ultimate. We had to wait in a queue for about 20minutes. Then we went on. I was in a carriage with my mate Cory. Suddenly we set off and we had to climb this big jump and then we went down the steep ride…we were going at least 60 mph. There were loads of sharp turns and then it came to a halt.

After lunch I only went on 3 more rides, The Eagle’s Claw, The Black Widow and the train. The Eagle’s Claw span round and went high in the air, the Black Widow span round very fast and went upside down and then the train was slow and went round the whole park slowly.…by then it was time to say farewell to the park and go home.

The thrill of danger, taking risks, travelling at speed, hanging upside down…these are all the things I love about theme parks. It’s a bit like life and all of the ups and downs we have to experience.

Excellent story Rhys, well done on all the hard work you put in, Kerry.Posted on 09/10/2009 at 10:50:47
