I love to go fishing with my Dad and my brother Steven. We go fishing on the River Tyne just down from Stoney Gate and we talk about anything we want to, from family to movies to girls and we have a good laugh.  We do not care if we get a fish.

When me and dad are not fishing we talk about the Titanic and watch documentaries and films about it as between us we have watched every documentary and every film that been made about the Titanic. And I that it was really bad how over 1,800 people died because 1 person thought the ship was unsinkable and ordered less life boards to be put on the Titanic.

As I like the sea I got offered to go on a 5 day sailing trip and I said yes straight away, when the day came I was excited about 5 long days away from home and family. When me and everyone who was go on the trip got on board we put the bags on the beds where we were sleeping. We sat around the dinning table and the captain went though all the safety rules and every one got split in to two teams for the watches. Then we all got the live jackets and we all got sorted out, we set off sailing. It took 2 days to get to Whitby from South Shields, it took just 9 hours to get back. It was a really good trip away and I learnt how to put the sails up, steer the boat and tie the knots properly.

I feel exited to be on the water because the adrenaline rush is really good....  I could die on a boat out in the middle of nowhere and I like putting my life on the line for fun that is why I go on boats out to sea.
