I got up at 8.30am. I brushed my teeth, washed my face, got dressed, ate my
breakfast and my mum dropped me off at Active Kidz.
Active Kidz was at Gateshead Stadium. It was scary when I first got there, however I
knew some people there which made me feel less nervous. I also knew one of the
teachers - Tom.
First of all e played an ice breaker game which involved us throwing the ball to each
other and saying our names.
We played a game called ‘Charver Charver’ which I hadn’t played before.
The game involved shouting 'charver charver, can we cross the street?' the team
shouted 'only if you're wearing black shoes' and so on.
We then played pirates and Indians, this game I had played before. One team are
Indians, the others are pirates and we had to throw balls and arrows at each team.
The last team standing won. My team, the pirates, won twice.
When the day was over I felt very, very tired. I had no energy left. However, I thought
the day was amazing. I made some good friends there called Darrell and Alex and I
am going back again next year.
