Video transcript

Its July, its hot, the sun and the sea air is making me and my brother Adam and my sister Rachel very excited. The seagulls are circling in the bright blue sky letting us know they are waiting for any scraps that may be dropped by all the happy families heading towards the beautiful still and calm beach.

I look up "Rachel look at the cliffs" Daddy says "you must be very careful don’t go wandering or trying to climb the cliffs they may look beautiful but they are very dangerous". At the edge of the beach I hurry taking my socks and my sandals off.

The feel of the sand between my toes is like soft cushions protecting my feet .Rachel, Adam and I race ahead so eager to paddle with the other children. My mam and dad looking on so happy as we splash about. Adam shouting "Mam, Mam look at me" as he swims properly in the sea "WOW! Look what my brother can do” I think to myself.

On the beach our towels are laid out Rachel is lying down sun cream all over determined to get a tan. Adam is burying himself in the sand, mam and dad are laughing we are all so happy, my sandcastles are great.  The sun shining and my family together is a memory I’ll never forget.
