Video transcript
During a school trip in year 6 in Middleton-in-Teesdale youth hostel we all went to sleep after a hard days walking to High Force waterfall and back. I woke up in the middle of the night needing the toilet. So I wandered to the toilet. I got to the loo not realising there was water on the floor. I managed to slip on the water and smash my leg off the toilet seat. My leg was bleeding quite badly. I went to get the first aid kit to repair my leg but I was soon spotted by one of the lasses who soon alerted one of the teachers who sent me to A&E where I was soon stitched up and sent back to the hostel. After a good night’s sleep I felt better even though I had a limp and stitches in my leg. By the end of the week at least I had a permanent reminder of my trip to Middleton-in-Teesdale.
