Video transcript

My story is, in 2005 I went to the play-off final with my dad and my sister, where Hartlepool United versus Sheffield Wednesday.

It was a sunny day and the atmosphere between the two fans was fantastic. We were at the top of the stadium, we also wore a one-off Hartlepool United shirt, which said 'Hartlepool United versus Sheffield Wednesday, Play-Off Final, 2005'.

Twenty-thousand fans made the journey down to Cardiff. We were winning 2-1. We were seven minutes away from the Championship, unfortunately and give away a dodgy penalty, foul by Chris Westwood and he also got sent off. Sheffield Wednesday scored the penalty and my dreams of Championship glory was shattered. It went to extra time where we were out-classed. The game ended 4-2 to Sheffield Wednesday. I was absolutely gutted. We all headed for the exit sharpish. I got in the car, it took about half an hour to get out of the stadium. I just wanted to go home.
