Video transcript

I was on my way home from school, rushing to get the bus home. People standing on my new white trainers I only bought the week before with my very first wage. I got a text off my mam saying " QUICK GET HOME AND PUT THE NEWS ON ". I rushed home after I got off the bus, rustling trough me bag trying to find my keys.

I found them, unlocked the door and run into the living room ... putting the TV on as fast as I could.

The news was already on the TV

"BREAKING NEWS - THE TWIN TOWERS HAVE BEEN HIT BY AN AIRPLANE"

It started to show the horrific event. My heart started to beat so so fast. I seen the plane going straight into the twin towers. I couldn't believe it I sat there just shocked . Didn't know what to say or do for that split second I seen it happen.

You could see the planes going straight into them, smoke all over bright orange flames, glass flying all over, black smoke covering the sky. You could hear people on the street screaming and crying, while the reporter was recording the news. Car horns beeping, sirens going. Could see loads of people standing in shock. Dirt was covering every one in that area ...

I went and got my mobile phone from in my blazer pocket. I started to write a text to all my friends and mam saying "OMG, have you seen about the twin tower OMG so many people are gonna be hurt and die" I couldn't believe it. It kept repeating it on the news I just sat there shocked not knowing what to do. I just sat there thinking about all the people. My mobile phone kept vibrating with all the replies of my text message I had sent to all of my friends and my mam. They were all saying " No, OMG, your joking aren't you, how many people are going to be hurt” and that.I sat there texting back but keep watching the news at the same time.

Later on that night I was channel flicking and when I went to bed the death toll kept increasing all the time. I just couldn't believe or understand why people would just do this. I went to bed that night thinking to my self why people would do this, what would people do if we didn't have mobile phones or TVs because no one would have know it had happened or wouldn’t have seen the massive event in history and in part of so many people lives.
