One day my Grandad took my Grandma into town shopping . When my Grandad was
pushing my Grandma in her wheel chair along the new, black tarmac path, my Grandma
noticed them in a shop window. Lots of teddies. She told my Grandad to go into the
shop so she could buy some teddies. When my Grandad and Grandma got home, my
Grandma told me she had a surprise for me. I went into the living room and saw a giant
present wrapped in shiny paper. I couldn't wait to open it. When I finally ripped all of the
paper off, there were two different kinds of teddy, I saw them for the first time. My
Grandma knew how much I loved teddies.
I still have all of my teddies, they remind me a lot of my Grandma. I can still remember
when me and my Grandma were in the churchyard, and she told me a story about her
wedding day at that church. I used to listen to all of her stories and my Grandad's too.
My Grandad was in the Navy during world war two. So he always had something good
to tell me. My Grandma died in 2007 on October the 9th.
A month before my Grandma died, she bought me loads of teddies. If I want memories
of my Grandma I just go and look at all my fantastic teddies. Every day I look at my
teddies to remember my Grandma. I even have them on my bed.
