Video transcript

Once upon a time in a land far, far away I was going on a bike ride with some lads from college who I didn’t know. I thought they would’ve been little radgies but they weren’t they were proper class and I was welcomed into their group just like that. It was like I knew them for ages but I didn’t I only just met them.

Anyways, we were going on this bike ride. I was meeting my teacher and the lads from college who I didn’t know at Newburn leisure centre. The weather wasn’t fantastic it was cold, icy day and the forecast was heavy snow so it would be dangerous and risky. I was nervous in case I fell off me bike because I would be so embarrassed if I did.

Anyways, we set off for our 20 mile bike ride that we were doing for NSPCC charity. We were riding for about 20 mile and I fell off, I don’t know how I fell but then I realised I fell off on the black ice. I was embarrassed but everyone else fell off also on the same spot as I did. We were all laughing so I found it quite funny it didn’t hurt or anything but the most annoying thing about it was that none off the teachers fell off it would have been funny if the teachers fell of though.

It was freezing! I had my granddad’s gloves on, they were old I think. My hands were still cold at the end off the bike ride and I would have been tired and achy but I wasn’t so then I played football with the lads from college. Altogether I made 30 quid for charity. After the bike ride was over I felt good for raising 30 quid for the NSPCC charity. It was a great day out and I enjoyed it.
