In July of last year, my team Leadgate were playing cricket against Sacriston. It was
a sunny day, we were winning, I was bowling when Sacriston’s player hit the ball
back to me. I tried to stop it and fell on my wrist. It hurt a lot. I went off the pitch, got
changed. My step Dad took me to Durham hospital, I had a scan on my wrist then
the doctors put a temporary cast on for the night. I had to come back the next day for
a proper cast. It had to stay on for 4 weeks. I had it on while I was on holiday in
Majorca. I got a tan everywhere except where the cast was. Could not do much
when had broken wrist.
