This is the M134 Gatling gun; it can fire 3000 rounds per minute. It has 6 barrels- more than an AK47. Originally it had 12 barrels, then 10 now 6. The gun was designed by a doctor Richard Jordan Gatling. The 6 barrelled power machine gun is triggered by levers, one on the top of the handle, to make the Gatling spin, as you can see on the rear end. The other trigger is on the top of the grip, a little round button, press it and the gun does its best thing- the shooting. The gun fires 7.62 bullets. Richard J Gatling designed the gun for the American civil war. Some say when the gun was first fired in the war the gun is evil and the gun is the master of destruction. Nearly every soldier was terrified by the Gatling gun because it is that forceful. The 7.62mm bullet chain is linked to a special box. Inside the box you will find 2 wires and a bottle. The wires are joined to the chain up through the gun. The bottle is a gas bottle which helps the bullets move faster out the gun. The trigger to make the barrel spin is powered by a big battery and is located under the gun. Sadly the battery and gas bottle is a weakness. If you got a Gatling gun, protect the 2 weaknesses. The reason I like the gun is that it is big, powerful and deadly. I love watching them spin; no other gun is powerful as the Gatling gun. I’m just waiting to get my hands on one, just one. And the name is very cool. Most of the time I call myself J Gatling. The other reason that I like the Gatling gun is because it is military and my dad was a private soldier in The Kings Own Scottish Borders. My dad is the man who introduced me to the Gatling gun, I thanked him ever since. I even ask him if he’s held a Gatling gun, sadly he says he never held one, but he has seen them in rows on helicopters and he says he’s never seen them be fired, but he has heard them on their practising day. My Dad went to Saudi Arabia to war; my dad also had the job of guarding Rudolf Hess in a German prison, just for Hess. I have pictures of my dad on patrol, I even have a picture of my dad whilst in the army with me just a few months old in his arms, and next to me is his SA80 assault rifle. I take after my dad after he’s been in the army because I have army experiences. He has even learnt me how to use a rifle and pistols. I try to be as good as Rambo. I love war films and other war stuff and I am Gatling mad.
