Video transcript

I like this jelly mould.  It reminds me of jellies at parties when I was young.  Apparently at one party I commented at the age of four or five of a jelly ‘It wobbles about’.  Jellies were always at the centre of birthday parties then.  When I was young I had a book with cats.  My wife would not have liked this book because she is not keen on cats – as they kill birds.  Her father used to say that they are the biggest predators around.  But this book about cats showed cats having a party by moonlight.  All the different cats had assembled and they had a huge range of coloured jellies all made from moulds.

When I learned that jellies were made from pigs trotters I lost my predilection for jellies, although now that I can’t have sweets with milk products, I will have to go back to the jellies again.

I love the colourful jellies in this story!Posted on 08/10/2009 at 09:26:31
