My mam was born on February 11th 1964 and my dad was born on March 10th
1961. They met in 1980 and their wedding followed 8 years later, on April 30th
1988. I was born on August 22nd 1988, five years later my mam told me the
news that was going to become a big sister. I was so excited that I was going
to have a baby sister. I remember telling everybody at school my news.
Hannah was born on May 3rd 1993. I went to hospital after school to see her,
she was tiny and I remember the smile on my face when I held her for the first
time. I loved being a big sister and I still do, although at times we’ve had our
differences! When Hannah was 10 months old I broke her leg! She had a
huge cast on it and even wore a hole in it through crawling!
When I was 11 years old we got our dog Royston aka Roy. He is a cross
black Labrador and Staffordshire Bull terrier. He is completely crazy and spoilt
rotten – more like the baby of the family and not the dog!
14 years later I met my partner Si while working in a bar together. In May
2009 I gave birth to Lewis Simon. He was a big baby weighing in at 8lbs and
13oz and was born on the 24th May at 23.58. We all live together now and I’m
still currently waiting for Simon to propose.
This is the story of my family. My Mam and Dad have been happily married for
22 years and are going to become Grandparents for the second time around
this will be to Hannah’s little girl, who is due on the 27th May 2010.
