Video transcript

When I travel down to my great grandparents’ house I always remember the smell of my great grandma's home made apple pies. The smell was immense. When I smell certain things it can contain a memory from my past. The memory I will talk about is when my grandparents took me on a train trip. They have took me on many trips to nearly every place that has steam trains.

When I went down to Pickering steam train depot, we went on one through the country side. And as we went through the countryside we stopped off at the old Heartbeat set where we had a look in the garage and I bought a model bus. As we went further through the countryside we stopped off at the town where we could but model trains and paintings of trains. As we were walking back to come back on the train my grandad nipped into one of the shops that had paintings of trains and he bought me one.

As we got back on the train I stuck my head out of the window of the carriage and my grandparents were sat inside the carriage. my face was covered in soot from the steam off the train and when I came back in my grandma spat on a tissue and and wiped my face ewwww!
