Video transcript

When I lived in Sunderland after leaving school I went onto a youth achievement course. It got me involved in doing guitar lessons because I was struggling to improve. After leaving that I was playing guitar at home, practicing from books, learning from books. Then I enrolled at college to do art and that got me involved in doing guitar lessons like one day a week but I was still struggling. After I left college I won some vouchers and I bought some books. After using these vouchers I just started learning from guitar books for improvement. Then I went for guitar lessons again and they put me in advanced class and I learned how to play blues and leas guitar. After finishing there I got myself an electric guitar and I enrolled at the college again to do music. Then I started playing in bands and learning the theory of music and getting involved in the business and the theory side of music. After finished that college course I moved into Durham and I got involved with the Salvation Army and started teaching people to play the guitar. Then I started busking on street corners for any bit of money I needed. I got involved with Centrepoint, which is a homeless charity. They told me to write a song and being homeless so I wrote a song about being homeless and then went into a studio to record it and made some cds and raised some funding.
