When I first saw the programme I knew it was the best show ever. My mam says as soon as I watched it for the first time I was speaking like one of them. A Teletubby. My favourite saying was "Time for Tubbie bye-bye".

When I found out the toys of the show was coming out I begged my mam for one, she went to nearly every shop but could not pre-order it for me I was absolutely gutted. My mam’s friend who worked at the co-op at the time was able to get me one but it was going to be a surprise for me. When she came over to see my mam like she did every week, she brought with her my very first Teletubby, her name was La-La. When she gave me La-La I was so excited it was like I had been given a million pounds. She was like my new best friend, I took her everywhere with me, even to my holiday to sandy bay.

 When my brother was born, I had collected most of the toys that had come out. I had a couple of videos, all four of the soft toys and even a pillow. When I started school I found out I could not bring her with me. I was so upset because she had been with me though the good times and the bad. For example, when I moved house for the first time, but I was told I could bring her in on a Friday when it was "show and tell."

Even though I am 16, I know I am too old for a toddlers show, but I still find my-self watching it because when I hear the theme tune it instantly takes me back to childhood and the happy memories I had experienced.
