Video transcript
Verity: As I was in the car on the way to the dance studio, nervous for my first ballet
lesson. My mam was positive I would make friends. I walked through the door. That
was when I first met Amy. She looked as nervous as me.
Amy: I stood there in my leotard and tights clinging onto my ballet shoes, a small,
brown-haired girl walked through the door looking as nervous as I did. The teacher
paired us together for our first dance routine.
Verity: We introduced ourselves and talked about our pets, I knew we would be
friends from then on.
Amy: When my dad picked me up, me and Verity hugged and said, 'bye'. I wouldn't
shut up about the fun times me and Verity had at our first dance lesson.
Verity: Every other week we had sleepovers and we would talk about the times we
had at dance lessons. The time came for our first show, both of us in the chorus.
Amy: We can still remember how nervous yet excited we were, the same feeling as
the first lesson.
Verity: Me and Amy are still best friends we see each other every day even though
we go to seperate dance studios now, we rehearse and laugh together.
