Youth conference gets everyone that's going excited. It's a Christian conference for ages around eleven to twenty-two. From the time you wake up in the morning to the long journey but funny and interesting journey. Going on Good Friday, coming back on Easter Monday. The rush of excitement through everyone on the bus.

As soon as we reach the venue we should see the amount of children from other parts of England just being lucky to get away from their parents but that's just outside. But as soon as you have gotten your bags from the bus and entered inside, everyone signs in and got in their rooms, everyone just separates to go to their different friends from different branches around England. Branches, for example, Teesside, Liverpool and Newcastle are some of the ones. Everyone now has met with all their friends. Girls, boys, trying to get in their big group of friends to come into each others room. Go for supper having a welcoming service.

It's only the first night so we all try fitting into one room and watch a movie but really most people fall asleep in about an hour into the movie from the rush of excitement so the group and my friends either fell asleep in the room they were in watching movies or quietly walked back to their own room.

The first day is arrive day at the Youth Conference and the first night ain't the most mischievous but as soon as everyone wakes up on Saturday morning, meets up with all their friends before they go for breakfast, then morning service on Saturday morning is mainly a free day when there's sports and a lot of mischief. Our friends in the room, well I should say the chilling room, or most people go to talk, relax or maybe watch TV, then going to the swimming pool, having a laugh.

The day just generally is a fun day but as soon as it was time to go to our rooms ( in the dark) that's when all the mischief happens. If we want to sneak out of our rooms we have to be careful and make sure we remember our room key because it's bad enough you've locked yourself out your own room carelessly but the fact that you forgot your room key and you were sneaking out of your room when you're meant to be asleep makes it even worse.

The fun thing about the night is that we sneak out, all meet up, try to quietly run to the park, which is outside the hotel building but even if we don't really notice there's always someone watching people that are sneaking out. Most of the time it's one person on look-out. Normally that person is very fast so that if you try to run away they might, or might not catch you but you don't really get into that much trouble because your parents aren't there. To be truthful, at night is where there is most social time because all the groups join together.

Sunday is church bible seminar but very funny sessions and then the talent show in the evening, which is brilliant and the last night the leaders let us stay up really late.
